Using Method and Maintenance
1 .Direct sunlight or drenching should be avoided during conveyor belt in transit and in storage. Prevent the contact with substances such as acid, alkaline and oils and organic solvent and so on, and rubber belt should be placed over one meter away from a heat source.
2. The warehouse temperature should be ranging -18℃-40℃,and the reative humidity. During 50-80% storage.
3. The products should be placed by rolls and should not be enfolded.
4. They should be turned and moved once a quarter during storage.
5. Conveyor belts of different type, specs and layer should not be spliced and used. For splicing, the best way is via agglutination method.
6. The operation speed of conveyor belt should generally be lower than 2.5 meters per second. For materials of big lump and big abrasion and when the unloading is done by fixed unloading devices, try to use low speed.
7. The matching of drive drum diameter and the number of belt layers, the collocation of the drive drum with turnabout drum, and the requirement on the well angle of carrying roller should be stipulated in accordance with the conveyor design and selected reasonably.
8. Feeding should be performed in the same direction as the belt running. To reduce the impact of the falling materials done to the belt, chutes shall be set up to reduce the materials falling distance. The section that loads materials of rubber belt should use shorter carrying roller pitch and buffer roller to prevent spillage. The sides of the belt should adopt striker plate of proper flexibility lest rigid striker plate scratch and damage the surface of the belt.
9. The following attention should be paid during operation:
(1)It should prevent the carrying roller from being covered with materials, which would result in turning failure; prevention of the fallen materials being jammed between drums and belts. Attention should be paid to the lubrication n moving parts, and it should not contaminate the belts.
(2) Loaded start-up should be avoided.
(3) A timely correction shall be carried out when off-track occurs. Timely mending shall be done when there is a partial damage on the surface of the belt, to prevent the damaged parts form being expanded.
(4) To prevent the belt from being blocked by the frame, supporting pillar and lump materials.
(5) To prevent the belt from being bumped and slit.
